This is our Halloween-themed jewellery-making workshop this year!

The Crystal Wand Workshop will enable you to set your beautiful crystals in a wire setting and transform them into amazing magic wand-shaped pendants.

This technique will have you making beautiful Wand pendants for years to come.

The techniques covered in this course form a great foundation for developing more advanced wire jewellery skills, but also equip you with everything you need to make professional-quality pendants from home.

A fun and versatile class not to be missed!

Learn the age-old technique of wire wrapping, a great way of showing off shaped stones. No soldering or glueing is involved, and you will learn to twist and interlock wire to create stunning statement pieces.

Techniques covered in this class include:

  • Learn about pliers, wire and basic tools used
  • Making a bail to hang the pendant from
  • How to professionally cut, shape and loop wire
  • How to wrap wires securely together without ends that catch
  • How to set a crystal within your pendant’s design
  • How to add accent beads to your pendant
  • How to shape your design into a beautiful wand shape

This workshop can be tricky, so some experience would be helpful; however, with expert guidance, everyone will go away with a beautiful pendant they will treasure for years to come.

Face-to-face workshops are great fun and informative. Being face-to-face, unlike video tutorials, means you can ask questions, get help when you are stuck, meet other like-minded people and enjoy the group workshop setting. I will be there to support you every step of the way, and you will be able to see the process from different angles, so you can create your beautiful pendant with ease.

The class size is kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention, with a maximum of 9 students.

The jewellery school is held at:

Studio 8, Fenlake Business Centre, PE1 5BQ – Turn onto Fenlake; you will see the Skoda garage on your right. Drive down the road until you see THHG on your left. Studio 8 is on the right, at the end of the turning.

See you there

Frequently asked questions

Explore essential details and clear up any questions before the event

Is there parking?

Yes, there is some parking right outside the venue, and more parking options are available around the business park. It is all free!

Is it accessible?

Yes, Studio 8 is accessible for all.

Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit for this workshop. However, we will be using hand tools such as pliers and wire cutters, so we leave that choice to you. Some of this workshop can also be quite tricky, so you need good hand mobility and the ability to bend and twist the wire. Younger students may need help from an adult.

Do we choose our Crystals?

Yes. I will have a selection of crystals for you to choose from. However, if you have a special crystal that you wish to turn into a pendant, please feel free to bring it along.
