The Wire Faceted gemstone setting Workshop will enable you to set your beautiful gemstones in intricate designs and transform your stones into amazing pendants.
The skills learn in this class will also teach you how to create intricate swirls and designs for your special piece.
Maybe this is the perfect class for you before Christmas to make something completely unique for a special person in your life. Nothing is better than handmade!
You will choose a faceted gemstone out of a selection of colours, which you will use within your piece, learning how to turn it into a beautiful pendant. All materials and gemstone are included in the price.
The techniques covered in this course form a great foundation for developing more advanced wire jewellery skills but also equip you with everything you need to make professional quality pendants from home.
A fun and versatile class not to be missed!
Learn the age-old technique of wire wrapping, a great way of showing off shaped stones. No soldering or gluing is involved and you will learn to twist and interlock wire to create stunning statement pieces.
Techniques covered in this class include:
• Learn about pliers, wire and basic tools used
• Making a bail to hang the pendant from
• How to professionally cut, shape and loop wire
• How to twist wire
• How to wrap wires securely together without ends that catch
• Create a wire wrapped stone pendent
• How to add crystal accents to each pendant.
You will create a faceted gemstone pendant to take home.
No previous experience is necessary
The size of the classes is kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention and the maximum number of students for this class is 9.

Event FAQs
The entrance through the back into the garden has a 2cm lip as you come through the gate and there is a small step into the workshop. Folding wheelchairs are able to be manouvered in. The jewellery bench is at standing height so a small foldout table can be provided.
Unfortunately the toilets are in side the house which is not accessible to wheelchairs.
Don't worry. I am there to support everyone. The great thing about being at a face-to-face workshop is that the tutor is there for hands on support. At any point you feel you are struggling or need some guidance then just call out and I will come over and get you back on track.
